As probably the last band on earth, Acid House Kings have
now embraced Facebook. Show your exquisite taste in music

(We do some work on our upcoming fifth album as well.)
It's been over a year since we declared Acid House Kings
record follow-up to "Sing Along" and that a new album
defining the meaning of perfect pop was to be expected in
2008.
What we have found, however, is that the songs
unfortunately do not record themselves. To counteract this
we have decided to invest heavliy in studio equipment.
If all goes well the meaning of perfect pop will finally be
defined in 2009.
Yes, it's true. After more than two years of silence since the release of the highly acclaimed "Sing Along With Acid House Kings" album, the Kings have finally returned to the famous Summersound Studios.
A new album defining the meaning of perfect pop can be expected in 2008.
The Kings will have seven songs on the forthcoming 100 song 4 CD box set Labrador 100 – A Complete History Of Popular Music, out in February: We're the Acid House Kings (original 4-track version), This and that, Sunday morning, Say yes if you love me, This heart is a stone, Do what you wanna do and Will you love me in the morning? (feat. Magnus Carlson).
On the US summer tour of 2006 Acid House Kings stopped by Ned's place and recorded a semi-acoustic set live in his living room. He was nice and the recording is quite nice, too with some left in mistakes for that "yes, they are human"-feeling. Listen here. Set list:
1. First time
2. This heart is a stone
3. This love is all we need
4. Do what you wanna do
5. Sunday morning
6. We're the Acid House Kings
