Hour of braveness

It has only taken a few years, but Disgaea has finally been cleared. It may seem strange that it took so long to finish such a beloved game but consider it a strange compliment. The game is so good and addictive it was hard to find the time to get back to it. Read the full review.

Clearing Disgaea did not completely satisfy the Nippon Ichi itch. Enter Phantom Brave. Contrary to popular belief, Phantom Brave is not very similar at all to Disgaea but amazingly enough it is every bit as good and possibly even more addictive. Wow.

Duo d'Atlus
10 March 2006
Neither PS2 nor GBA look to be dying any time soon. Plenty of software is still in the pipeline, epsecially for PS2, and two more titles have been added to the softbase courtesy of the fine folks at Atlus.

Persona 3 is the latest great-looking MegaTen game en route to PS2 and Super Robot Taisen is the first of a long running series expected to hop over the pacific.

Capcom is collecting both Power Stone games that first appeared on Dreamcast and bringing them to PSP.

I never played the sequel, but the original Power Stone was a real blast. I am not a fan of fighting games, but Power Stone was a noteworthy exception. It should be well suited for portable play and the value added to the collection is significant.

Xi-a-go-go
05 January 2006
It was probably inevitable, but Sony has announced a version of the Xi puzzle series for PSP. Dubbed Xi Colosseum in Japan, North Americans can probably expect a name change for the domestic release of the game better as Bombastic or Devil Dice on these shores. The classic gameplay of this fast paced puzzler is perfectly suited for handheld gaming, making this game an instant purchase.

There is not much to see at the official website, but check out some Lenneth PSP scans from Famitsu magazine.
